We have identified that many of our young children are lacking in essential vitamins needed for a healthy diet. With this need in mind we have developed a ‘Milk Aid initiative’ which involves providing fresh milk to children under the age of 12 when a child’s development is most important. Arobanam have started giving milk to 125 children on a daily basis in Mahadeva Asram, Kilinochchi in the North east of Sri Lanka which amounts to a monthly cost of £275. The video below captures the work that is already underway.

We are looking to our patrons and friends to support this worthy cause.

Due to the urgency of this project ACF-UK has already provided the necessary funding from our contingency fund. While this resource is sustainable for the next month or so, we urgently need more funds to support this project.

How can you help with this project?

The cost of providing one month’s supply of fresh milk, to 75 children, is about £150. This is just 20p a day. Please do consider donating towards this project on your memorable dates (birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc). These children cannot wait; they are in great need of essential nourishment to enable them to develop into healthy young adults. Please help them!
